Dr. Linda E. Sturrup is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Minna Mae Productions LLC, and the Chief Operating Officer of RDS Entertainment Group LLC, with offices in New York City and Houston, Texas. She and her brother, Randolph D. Sturrup, make up the creative team for the literary animation property Puppy Preschool.

Dr. Sturrup is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature Course, Writing for Children and Teenagers, located in West Redding, Connecticut. She has self-published three children’s books: A Sugar Bug on My Tooth, its Spanish translation Un Bichito en Mi Diente, and Up on My Tippy Toes.

Dr. Sturrup writes children’s animated short stories, as well as research papers and narratives for historical and archival documentation. She also plans to produce and direct an emotional docu-series about the blessing and gift of being a caregiver, manifested through heartfelt shared stories of resiliency, perseverance, and love. This project is currently in development.

Dr. Sturrup earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Indiana University, a Master of Science degree in Biology from Prairie View A&M University, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Sturrup practiced General Dentistry for over 20 years. Prior to starting her companies and becoming a creative entrepreneur, she was a Composite Science Curriculum Educator in the Houston Independent School District for seven years.

In addition to writing children’s books and creating projects for development, Dr. Sturrup is the CEO and Managing Partner of J.M.D. Pinson Properties LLC, a real estate company based in Houston, Texas.

Having retired from dentistry, Dr. Sturrup is excited about pursuing a career in writing, creating distinct literary and media content that will enlighten, appeal, and inspire.
