ANNE BOLES LEVY

Author

Anne Boles Levy co-founded and now runs the Cybils Awards, still the only awards by book bloggers for kids’ and young adult titles. She’s been interviewed by the Cynsations blog and was featured in Book Expo America’s blog for librarians.

Her previous life as a newspaper reporter took her from the political swamps of Manhattan to the buggy wetlands of South Florida. Her book reviews have appeared in the Los Angeles Times. In all, Anne has lived in eight states, forcing her to make up settings for her fantasy novels since she can’t remember what any real place looks like.

Anne is a graduate of Smith College and studied abroad at University College London, and has her master’s in journalism from Columbia University. She’s taken creative writing classes at the UCLA extension and worked with writing coach Bruce McAllister. She’s also an amateur silversmith and the absent-minded wife to her long-suffering husband and two children in Scottsdale, Arizona.
