Sharice Bryant writes stories that keep young readers on the edge of their seats. As an author and filmmaker, she specializes in mystery and horror for middle-grade and young adult audiences, always aiming to capture that spark of wonder and suspense she loved as a kid.

Sharice’s love for storytelling started early, when she turned creative writing assignments into epic sagas that spilled across extra pages. In her last year of high school, a film class opened up a new world—one where stories didn’t just live on paper but could move and breathe on screen. That discovery led her to pursue filmmaking in grad school, earning an M.F.A. from the New York Film Academy after completing her B.A. in Communications at Bethune-Cookman University. The blend of words and visuals stuck with her.

In 2018, Sharice returned to her writing roots and co-authored two novels with Jessica Watkins Presents. By 2020, she found herself drawn to children’s fiction, inspired by the wild, imaginative books that shaped her own childhood. She finished her first children’s book that same year and soon after signed with Serendipity Literary Agency.

These days, Sharice calls Los Angeles home. She’s busy weaving cinematic twists and page- turning suspense into mysteries for middle-grade readers, hoping to inspire courage, curiosity, and a love of storytelling in the next generation.
